Job Description

Purpose of the role:

Develop, plan and manage an affiliate programme to efficiently drive acquisition and retention for this leading retailer’s website. Develop new revenue streams through 3rd Party activity.

Main Duties Responsibilities:

– Drive the affiliate listings strategy, sales and return on investment

– Deliver new programmes of activity to drive affiliate partner engagement

– Ensure the robustness relevancy of all product feeds, banners, campaigns

– Reinvigorate activity with Shopping Comparison sites

Affiliate Programme

– Manage the relationship with the Affiliate Networks, driving sales through Affiliate Partners on an on-going basis ensuring profitability and traffic targets are met.

– Constantly look for opportunities to develop the Affiliate Programme and to promote sales, across all product categories and other promotional activity.

– Analyse and recommend appropriate course of action at Affiliate Network / Affiliate level on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.

– Grow revenue through focus on developing relationships with Super Affiliates

– Ongoing research to stay abreast of competitor Affiliate activity and adjust tactics accordingly to ensure that Affiliate objectives can be met.

Comparison Site Partners

– Responsible for planning, implementation and ongoing performance of all Shopping Comparison Site activity.

Website Monetisation

– Work alongside Trading Marketing to identify opportunities to develop a revenue stream in return for placements on website

– Develop relationships with non core suppliers for revenue opportunities, e.g. micro sites, content

Financial Management:

– Responsible for the Affiliate Marketing Budget

Candidate Requirements


– Experienced in both Affiliate Marketing and Online Advertising

– Strong commercial and business awareness.

– High degree of initiative and a team player


Degree level qualification preferred but suitable experience considered

Personal Attributes:

Strong commercial and business awareness

Proven negotiating and influencing skills
